Casey was a 16-year old sophomore at Columbus North High School, whose life was tragically cut short in a car accident on
May 6th, 2001. A gifted athlete, Casey played volleyball in Jr. high, high school, and 3 years of club volleyball for Circle
City Volleyball Club. She loved the game, as well as the competition, and treasured the friendships that developed through
her 4 years of participation. Casey is sadly missed by many who admired her energy, enthusiasm, and attitude
that she brought to the court. To memorialize these qualities, the Casey Cooley Volleyball Tournament has been established
in order to benefit both club and high school volleyball players.
